Curry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 medium onions 2 cloves garlic 1 water 2 tbsp curry powder 2 tomatoes, chopped 1 cup fatfree yogurt 1/2 cup fatfree sour cream
Instructions:
Chop up 2 medium onions and several cloves of garlic. Saute in water til translucent. Add several tablespoons of curry powder. Add 2-3 (or more) ch opped tomatoes, cook a couple of minutes. Add 1 c. (roughly) fatfree yogurt, 1/2 c. (roughly) fatfree sour cream. Depending on the liquid content of the tom atoes, you made need to add some broth to achieve the right consistency. Let this cook for 1/2 hour or so. I have this over rice with raisins, fruit cocktail and dry roasted pean**s (if I'm feeling decadent).
For the McDougallers among us, I have made something very close to this with soy milk. It tasted better than the coconut milk I once used. Barbara Z.
