Marinated Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pt fresh mushrooms 1 each onion,sliced & seperated 1 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp water 1 dash pepper 2/3 cup tarragon vinegar 1 each clove garlic 1/2 tsp lite salt or less or none 2 tbsp canola oil 1 dash cayenne
Instructions:
Remove stems of mushrooms. Wash and pour boiling water over mushroom crowns. Stir for 2-3 minutes. Drain and marinate in remaining ingredients overnight. When ready to serve, drain most of the marinade off and place mushrooms and onions in a shallow serving dish. Serve with wooden picks for spearing.
