Raspberry-Peppercorn Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sugar 2 tsp cornstarch 1/8 tsp salt 2/3 cup water 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro 1 to 2 tsp green peppercorns in water, drained* *Substitute 1/2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper.
Instructions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 1-quart saucepan. Gradually stir in water and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in cilantro and peppercorns. Cover and refrigerate any remaining dressing. ABOUT 1 CUP DRESSING.
