Scotch Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cup flour, all-purpose 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cream of tartar 2 tbsp sugar, granulated 2 tbsp margarine 3/4 cup sour skim milk (1 tb vinegar + mil, k)
Instructions:
Measure first 6 ingredients nto bowl. Cut in margarine until crumbly.
Add sour milk. Stir just until a soft ball forms. Divide into 4 equal balls. Now divide each ball into 4 pieces. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 425 degree oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until risen and browned.
Nutrition: 1 scone: 84 calories, trace cholesterol, 175 mg sodium, 2 g fat
