Sour Cream Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 2 tbsp firm margarine 1/2 cup lowfat sour cream 1/3 cup skim milk
Instructions:
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in margarine with pastry blender until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Mix sour cream and milk until smooth. Stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture until dough leaves side of bowl. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead lightly 10 times. Roll or pat 1/2-inch thick. Cut with floured 2-1/2-inch round cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. 8 BISCUITS.
