Bread Crumbs, Seasoned - Atkins Recipe
Ingredients:
5 slice atkins bread, frozen 1/4 tsp kosher (coarse) salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tsp italian seasoning, or a mix of
OREGANO, BASIL
AND PARSLEY
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
For breading cutlets, binding meatballs and stuffing, and making fried snacks, flavored breadcrumbs add taste and crunch like nothing else.
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Cut frozen bread into 1 cubes; spread in a single layer onto baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes, until thoroughly dry, but not brown.
2. In a food processor, process cubes until fine crumbs form. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; pulse to combine.
