Cinnamon Buns Recipe

Ingredients:

=== DOUGH ===
1 package Atkins Quick & Easy Country White B
4 tbsp melted butter, cooled
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cup water
1/4 cup granular sugar substitute
=== FILLING ===
4 tbsp melted butter, cooled
2 tbsp granular sugar substitute
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 tbsp dried currants
=== GLAZE ===
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp heavy cream
1/3 cup strained Steel's praline sauce

Instructions:

In a large bowl mix bread mix, water, butter, sugar substitute and egg yolk
until smooth. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and let rise one hour.

Stretch dough out to a rectangle measuring 10 by 15 inches, long side
facing towards you. For filling: mix butter, sugar substitute and
cinnamon. Brush mixture over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border at the
bottom. Sprinkle dough evenly with nuts and currants.

Roll dough up lengthwise from the top, stretching it as you go along.
Pinch dough tightly to seal roll and pat to even out shape if necessary.
Cut dough roll in half, then halve each half, then cut each quarter into
thirds (you will have 12 even slices). Arrange slices on a nonstick baking
sheet, lightly cover with plastic wrap and let rise 45 minutes.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix egg yolk and cream. Brush dough slices with
mixture. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until lightly browned. Cool buns five
minutes then brush with praline sauce. Serve warm or at room temperature.

When chickens quit quarreling over their food they often find that there is enough for all of them. I wonder if it might not be the same with the human race.
