Lemon-Basil Green Beans Recipe




Ingredients:

1 lb green beans
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp freshly-grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1/4 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced

Instructions:

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook green beans 5 to
6 minutes until barely tender. Drain into a collander.

In the same pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add green beans, lemon
zest, salt and pepper; stir to coat. Remove from heat. Toss with basil
and serve immediately.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
