Mocha Granita Recipe

Mocha Granita Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup water 1 cup strong decaffeinated coffee 10 packets sugar substitute 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tbsp Atkins Sugar-Free Chocolate syrup
Instructions:
Mix water, coffee, and sugar substitute in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in cocoa powder and syrup. Bring mixture to a gentle boil. Simmer, stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Remove from heat; pour mixture through a fine strainer into a large measuring cup. Refrigerate until cold.
Pour mixture into ice cube trays, filling only half way. Freeze until firm. Before serving, process chocolate cubes in a food processor until chopped and slushy. Serve immediately.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
