4 turnips (~1.25lb), trim, peel 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp chili powder
Instructions:
These great-flavored root veggies are a good side dish or snack. While not crispy, they're still fun finger food. Serve with low carb ketchup.
1. Heat oven to 425° F. Cut turnips into 2' x 1/2' sticks. Place on a foil-lined jelly-roll pan. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Toss with your hands to coat. Spread out in a single layer.
2. Roast fries 30 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time for even browning. Serve immediately.
