Tangy Sweet-And-Sour Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground round 1/4 cup minced onion 2 tsp minced parsley 1 minced clove garlic 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 1 tsp oregano 1 egg white
BREAD CRUMBS SAUCE
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 3/4 cup water 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp lemon juice 4 tsp granulated sweetener
Instructions:
Combine meatball ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls. Brown in skillet sprayed with no-stick coating, turning to brown evenly. Mix sauce ingredients, except granulated sweetener, and add to meatballs. Simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Take meatballs out of sauce and place on serving dish. Stir granulated sweetener into sauce and pour sauce over meatballs. 124 Calories per 3-meatball serving.
