Very "Unfrench" French Toast Recipe




Ingredients:

6 slice non-fat sourdough bread
1 cup egg beaters
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 pt fresh strawberries
1/2 cup unsweetened natural apple juice
1 pam spray

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients - except bread and Pam in a shallow bowl.
Dip each bread slice in Egg Beaters until coated evenly. Set aside.
Spray pan with Pam and heat on medium heat. Place 2 slices of
bread in pan at a time and cook until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, wash and hull strawberries. Blend berries with apple
juice until pureed. Pour over toast and serve immediately.

Cholesterol 0 mg, Sodium 163 mg, Dietary Fiber 3.7 g.
